founder and operator, Susan Hotz, is the third generation of recognized health care providers in Stamford since 1938.
Susan's grandfather, Samuel Hotz, owned and operated Foot Form Shoes on Bedford Street in Stamford from 1938 until 1976, which
sold special order orthopedic footwear. Her father, Walter Hotz, built, owned and operated Courtland Gardens Nursing Home
from 1964 until 1985. During that time he built the Courtland Gardens Residence, the country’s first "Retirement
Hotel" for independent seniors before the term "Assisted Living" was recognized. In 1972 Courtland Gardens was
the location where Mr. Hotz started Stamford's Meals-On-Wheels Program.
Susan Hotz was raised with a tremendous respect
for seniors and the importance of quality care delivery. In 1993, Susan founded and solely operated Care On Call,
Inc., a Private Duty Nurses Registry in Stamford which she sold in 1999 to focus on her growing family. Ready to
return her full attention to delivering the highest quality health care solutions to the community, Care Concierge LLC was
born. Susan's contacts in the community with the highest qualified health care providers and her keen sense of what people
need and deserve in the delivery of health care services makes her a natural source for your private duty health
Susan is dedicated to serving her clients with the highest quality attention and care they deserve.
